frnt
frnt rents company by the hour. A nursing friend for someone who should not be alone, a shopping pal, somebody to listen, people to fill out a birthday party — booked the way a ride is booked.
Which is a design problem before it is a product one: the idea only works if the app makes it ordinary, and if both sides of it feel safe.

This is the prototype, running — the asking side, end to end. Sign in through WhatsApp because that is the account everyone in Cairo already has, confirm the number, search the neighbourhood, read the person, pay by card, watch them on their way, rate them afterwards.
Everywhere money or safety is involved the design goes deliberately quiet: a price, a confirmation, a receipt, a map. Nothing is playful in those moments, because what makes a stranger's company a legitimate thing to buy is the paperwork around it looking like every other transaction on the phone.

And the rest of it, both sides. What a frnt sees — requests, an offer raised, one accepted on the map, one skipped, a job with the time running, earnings before and after the first one, a rating — and what the asking side sees around the journey the phone is playing.
